A Michigan community college faces a lawsuit over a U.S. Constitution giveaway that ended with its students arrested for trespassing.
Kellogg Community College students Brandon Withers and Michelle Gregoire were arrested Sept. 20, 2015, in Battle Creek after they refused to stop handing out copies of the U.S. Constitution on campus. Officials cited the school’s Solicitation Policy, which requires permission for such behavior, before having the Young Americans for Liberty members and a friend arrested.
Alliance Defending Freedom, a nonprofit legal organization that “advocates for the right of people to freely live out their faith,” filed a lawsuit on their behalf Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
“Today’s college students will be tomorrow’s legislators, judges, commissioners, and voters,” ADF Senior Counsel Casey Mattox said in a statement released Wednesday. “That’s why it’s so important that public universities model the First Amendment values they are supposed to be teaching to students, and why it should disturb everyone that KCC and many other colleges are communicating to a generation that the Constitution doesn’t matter.”
ADF’s lawsuit claims KCC’s “Speech Zone Policy” and the wording of its code of conduct create an unconstitutional veto over speech. The plaintiffs also claim the school selectively enforces its Solicitation Policy. They cite a 2015 instance where members of an LGBT group Spectrum were allegedly allowed to distribute literature without an “information table.”

While security is in place and there is no specific, credible threat, a quirk in America's rules for succession raises questions about who would be in charge if an attack hit the incoming president, vice president and congressional leaders just as the transfer of power gets underway. The first national Super Bowl ad for 84 Lumber will not appear during the game the way it was intended.
The Pittsburgh advertising company that created the spot was forced to make a change.
Super bowl ads are a pinnacle of an advertising career.
“It’s a big deal, something we’re excited about. There’s a lot of energy, a lot of enthusiasm,” said Michael Brunner, the chairman and CEO of Brunnerworks.
The creative minds of Brunner Advertising have been working for months on the spot for 84 Lumber.
They have three goals in mind. Brunner says they want to generate national awareness of 84 Lumber, create pride in the workforce and fill jobs within the company.
“We’ve got over 400 positions that we’re looking to fill at all levels, at all capacities,” said Brunner.
The owner of 84 Lumber, Maggie Hardy Magerko says the company is defined by its people.
In a statement says said, “That’s why we’re casting a wider net. We want the world to know 84 Lumber is the place for people who don’t always fit nicely into a box.”
And it was in that effort that the ad apparently made FOX a bit uncomfortable.
“Simply put, that was a spot that they didn’t think they would be willing to run during the Super Bowl,” said Brunner.
"This is it," Arwa said as she sat in the US immigration office on the outskirts of Houston, Texas last month. Having fled Saudi Arabia two years earlier, her 7 a.m. appointment would reveal if her application for asylum had been successful or whether she would be forced to leave America.
"What I really want is just to live normally without fear and not have to pretend to be somebody else, that's all I ever want," Arwa told CNN on the eve of her appointment.
"What really scares me is that I wouldn't get this asylum, and I would be returned and I would die young, and that I would lose everything that I tried to build, that I would just fail."
Arwa initially came to the US as a student before returning to Saudi Arabia to work for several years. There she says her parents began to turn on her as she began questioning the restrictions placed on women in Saudi society.
Her frustrations grew to the point that one night she sneaked out of her family home and arranged to travel across the border to Bahrain, where she boarded a flight to begin her journey to the US.
Leaving her home and Saudi Arabia were against the wishes of her father, who is also her legal guardian, and doing either could have landed her in jail.
Incredible video of a black man going OFF on other black people who constantly degrade other blacks for not buying into the liberal slave mentality that has overtaken the black community. This is a spectacular video that breaks it down like only someone who finally woke up and realized the BS could.
A bizarre and disturbing clip was released of a northeast Ohio lawyer trying to hypnotize a female client for his own sexual pleasures. In November 2014, a woman wearing a hidden camera sat down in the Sheffield office of respected divorce attorney Michael Fine. Sheffield police set up the sting after she claimed the now 59-year-old Sheffield attorney would try to relax her before meetings using hypnosis. She realized he was actually trying to take advantage of her sexually. "Let's take a deep breath ... one more time. Ok, I gotta calm down, let's do this together," Fine says as the meeting begins. "Each time I say the word sleep, you're gonna go deeper and deeper, ten times deeper. One, two, three, sleep ... one, two, three sleep," Fine said as he appeared to attempt a hypnotic trance. In September 2016, Fine pleaded guilty to putting five other women in similar trances. Prosecutors say the victim with the hidden camera went to police when she realized she had lost track of time after a previous meeting, and her clothing was disheveled. When the relaxation session moved to the couch, it became more sexual. Some of the talk is too graphic for Fox 8 to repeat. Most of the time, the woman's eyes are closed while Fine's face gets closer to hers. "Every time I say the word pleasure, you cannot constrain or hold yourself back, your entire body is a vessel of pleasure," he said. "When is the last time you made love?" he asked. "Every time I touch you, it's gonna be an incredible sensation," he said. "At the count of three, you won't be able to control yourself," Fine also said. After a few minutes, Fine wakes the woman out of her so-called trance and gets down to business. "Ok, so we have some papers to go over and, I have some questions that I have to ask of you," he says moments before police storm into the room. "He used my trust and his position as my attorney to gain information about my vulnerabilities. He then used that information not only to protect and defend me, but also to manipulate, hurt and take advantage of me," said one of the victim's when she spoke at Fine's sentencing hearing in November. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison. An attorney who represents some of the victims in a civil suit told Fox 8 that the public is not aware of how capable he was in hypnotizing the women. She says they were not naive, they were strong, intelligent women.

Sandra Solomon grew up in the middle East under Sharia Law. She sees the way Islam is creeping into Canadian society and she wants nothing more than to stop this inevitable takeover. She knows firsthand just how much danger we are in.
This video showcases Sandra's attempt to alert the Peel Regional School Board in Toronto, Ontario that providing prayer areas for Muslim students is only the first step in a terrible outcome.
Sandra Solomon was born to a Palestinian Muslim family in Ramallah, but moved with her family to Jordan and subsequently settled in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where she grew up.
Forced into marriage to a Palestinian man at the age of 21, Sandra moved to Canada in 2004. In 2005, when her son was three years old, she returned to Saudi Arabia to divorce her husband. In 2012 she converted to Christianity.
According to Sandra, the attitude of most Palestinians against Jews is that of hatred: “They blame Jews for everything. They rejoice in the killing of Jews. There is no respect, no love, no peace, just anger and hatred for others”.
While attending school in Saudi Arabia, she was very troubled by the fact that the Koran instructed Muslims to kill anyone who does not believe in Islam. Sandra says the Koran teaches that the only way of salvation is through the religious duty of Jihad. “In school, they told us that to be a true Muslim, and to go to heaven, a person would have to die for Allah. Furthermore, Islam considers Jews as the ‘grandchildren of monkeys and pigs’. Anyone who does not believe in Islam and Mohammad is an enemy of Allah and is despised by Muslims. For Islam to conquer and spread, Muslims must force the infidels to either submit to Allah, pay taxes (jizya), or be executed.”
She began to feel uneasy by the hatred and violence taught by the Imams at school. “I failed to find peace and love in the Koran. Many more things happened that led me to stop the practice and duty of a Muslim and reject Allah.”
After Sandra moved to Canada, she was able to search for answers on her own without feeling the pressure of Islamic law. “I found that I had peace when I was able to connect with God on a personal level. I longed for a personal relationship with Him, based on love and peace without fear. Throughout all of my struggles as a single mother, I felt surrounded by God’s presence and love.”
Regarding Israel, Sandra believes that Jews have a right to live in peace and wants to take her pro-Israel message to the Canadian public. She says the reason she is standing up for Jews is because Jews are a minority who are caught up in a political and religious conflict between Islam and Judaism.
“As an ex-Muslim, I have a unique responsibility to stand up for Israel. Israel has a right to exist”.
Sandra will be speaking at the Toronto Zionist Centre, 788 Marlee Avenue on April 11, 2016 at 7:30 pm. Admission is free.
A chilling video posted to social media captures a 15-year-old student opening fire with a handgun at a private school in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey on Wednesday, wounding a teacher and three other students before killing himself. The teacher and and two other students at the bilingual American School of the Northeast appeared to take bullets in the head from the .22 caliber pistol. The assailant, who was being treated for depression, then killed himself. Another student suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm. The video, apparently from the school's surveillance camera, shows a female teacher collecting papers from students. The youngsters are seated at their desks when the boy opens fire with a pistol from a sitting position, hitting a boy in front of him, who immediately slumps to the ground

When Justin Trudeau was elected Prime Minister of Canada in October 2015, it was another in a string of victories for Liberalism. It looked like Liberals would be in charge of all of North America for a long time when the leaders of the U.S., Mexico and Canada met at a summit in June 2016. Then, came Trump. And the backlash against Liberalism. Now, it looks like the people of Canada are starting to be unhappy with the Liberal in charge. The Huffington Post reported: “Just one day after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s suggestion that Canada should “phase out” the oilsands, Edmonton hockey fans were ready to let him know what they think of that idea. (Obvious Spoiler: they don’t exactly love the plan.) On Saturday night, fans gathered at Rogers Place Arena to say farewell to Hayley Wickenheiser during a retirement ceremony before the Edmonton Oilers versus Calgary Flames matchup.
As part of a tribute to the female hockey great, video messages from Mark Messier, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared on the Jumbotron. And while Bettman is usually the target of the loudest heckling and jeers at NHL events, the prime minister bore the brunt of the boos that night. In fact, the noise made by the crowd completely drowned out his remarks.” -- It takes a lot for Canadians to boo somebody. It means something is very wrong. It means Trudeau is on the way out. Even in Canada, Liberals are on the run!
At least 1,400 children were subjected to appalling sexual exploitation in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013, a report has found.
Children as young as 11 were raped by multiple perpetrators, abducted, trafficked to other cities in England, beaten and intimidated, it said.
The report, commissioned by Rotherham Borough Council, revealed there had been three previous inquiries.
Council leader Roger Stone said he would step down with immediate effect.
Mr Stone, who has been the leader since 2003, said: "I believe it is only right that as leader I take responsibility for the historic failings described so clearly."
The inquiry team noted fears among council staff of being labelled "racist" if they focused on victims' descriptions of the majority of abusers as "Asian" men.
Women’s marches are scheduled in Washington DC and other major cities the day following Donald Trump’s inauguration and women across the country are knitting pink “pussy” hats to wear at the protests.
The hats have little cat ears and are an obvious homage to Trump’s infamous “grab them by the pussy” comment.
The Pussyhat Project was started by two Los Angeles women who published designs for the hat online. The movement spread and now thousands are getting together to knit the hats to distribute at the marches.
