FED UP! All 32 NFL Owners Approve a New Bill REQUIRING Players to Stand for the National Anthem

    moku 381 1

NFL owners have unanimously approved a new national anthem policy that requires players to stand if they are on the field during the performance but gives them the option to remain in the locker room if they prefer, it was announced Wednesday.

The new policy subjects teams to a fine if a player or any other team personnel do not show appropriate respect for the anthem. That includes any attempt to sit or kneel, as dozens of players have done during the past two seasons. Those teams will also have the option to fine any team personnel, including players, for the infraction.

"This season, all league and team personnel shall stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement. "Personnel who choose not to stand for the Anthem may stay in the locker room until after the Anthem has been performed.

"We believe today's decision will keep our focus on the game and the extraordinary athletes who play it -- and on our fans who enjoy it."

A vote took place at the conclusion of the league's spring meetings and was approved by all 32 owners.

Bill Clinton Appointed Federal Judge Declares That President Trump's Not Allowed to Block Twitter Trolls

President Donald Trump cannot block users on his Twitter feed, a federal judge in New York City ruled Wednesday.

Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald said in her ruling that Trump is violating the U.S. Constitution by preventing certain Americans from viewing his tweets.

The social media platform, Buchwald said, is a "designated public forum" from which Trump cannot exclude individual plaintiffs.

The judge's ruling was in response to a lawsuit filed last July by the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University, as well as seven other plaintiffs who said they had been blocked on Twitter by Trump.

The plaintiffs included a journalist who had tweeted at Trump that "Russian won" the presidential election for him, a surgeon and a Texas police officer.

The blocks on the social media platform prevented the plaintiffs from viewing or responding to the president's tweets when logged into their own Twitter accounts. Trump is an avid Twitter user and routinely makes news, often several times in a single day, with his posts.

The president has more than 52.2 million Twitter followers and has tweeted more than 37,600 times since signing up for Twitter in March 2009.

Corrupt Congressman, Al Green, ADMITS Democrats Will Try to Impeach Pres. Trump If They Retake the House

    moku 233 0

If Americans give the House of Representatives back to the Democratic Party this November, one of first things that will happen is the impeachment of President Trump, Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) said Tuesday.

"There’s a good likelihood there will be articles of impeachment” brought against Trump, Rep. Green said. “Here is a point that I think is salient, and one that ought to be referenced. Every member of the House is accorded the opportunity to bring up impeachment. This is not something the Constitution has bestowed upon leadership. It’s something every member has the right and privilege of doing.”

Rep. Green, who has been one of the most vocal proponents of impeaching Trump, made the comments during an appearance on CSPAN. Here's a transcript:

ECHEVARRIA: “If Democrats take back the House in November, what is the likelihood that Speaker Nancy Pelosi bring up an impeachment charge?”

GREEN: “I’ll let Speaker Pelosi address her actions. But here is a point that I think is salient and one that ought to be referenced. Every member of the House is accorded the opportunity to bring up impeachment. This is not something that the Constitution has bestowed upon leadership. It is something that every member has the right and privilege of doing. I am not sure that there will be members who are going to wait for someone else if that someone else, doesn’t matter who it is, is declining to do it. We can all do it. And I think there is a good likelihood there will be Articles of Impeachment.”

ECHEVARRIA: “Have you heard directly from the Minority Leader about these efforts of yours, specifically asking you to stop or hold back? Anything along that line?”

GREEN: “Well, I don’t think you have to ask me what I’ve heard. If you have read publications, it is intuitively obvious to perhaps even the most casual observer that she and I are in different places on this. I respect her position.”

BUSTED! Cali Democrats Kamala Harris and Maxine Waters Funneled $750,000 to Maxine Waters Daughter for "Campaign Mailers" Using Campaign Donations!

    moku 759 0

Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) is slated to pay her daughter another $108,000 for running a lucrative campaign operation that pulls in hundreds of thousands of dollars each election cycle, FEC filings show.

Karen Waters, the daughter of Rep. Waters, collected nearly $650,000 to date for running the operation for her mother's campaign.

Karen is in charge of a "slate mailer" operation for Citizens for Waters, Rep. Waters' federal campaign committee. Slate mailers, or endorsement mailers, involve a candidate or political group paying for the endorsement of another politician.

A candidate pays Citizens for Waters from their own political committees for her endorsement. If a candidate that she endorses does not directly pay her campaign committee, they must credit their own committee with in-kind contributions from Waters.

The mailers are sent to nearly 200,000 residents in South Central Los Angeles, an area where Waters holds considerable clout. The mailers contain an "official sample ballot" and brief quotes from Waters about the candidates and measures that she supports.

During the 2016 election cycle, Waters' campaign committee hauled in nearly $300,000 from more than 20 payments for slate mailer endorsements.

Kamala Harris, the former Democratic attorney general of California who last November won a seat in the U.S. Senate, gave Citizens for Waters $30,000 to appear on the endorsement mailers this past election cycle. Harris previously paid Waters' campaign committee $28,000 in 2010 to appear on the mailers as she was running for attorney general.

Cops advise man to break into home; woman inside house responds with a gun

    The King Slayer 1489 -2

Moments after arriving at the city house, Rochester Police Officer Korey McNees offered a solution for the man standing outside who wanted to retrieve items from his uncooperative girlfriend who'd earlier changed the locks:

Just break into the house, McNees said.

The law allowed it, McNees told the man time and time again in conversations outside of the Genesee Park Boulevard home and captured on police-worn body cameras. If the boyfriend lived there, then he was in his legal right to kick in a door or break a window and get his small refrigerator, air conditioning unit, and gift cards he wanted from within, the officer said.

Finally, the boyfriend, who for more than 20 minutes hesitated to follow the advice and who did not formally reside at the home, listened to McNees and smashed out a window. His former girlfriend, Catherine Bonner, responded by sticking a 9mm rifle out of the window. And now Bonner is facing criminal charges, accused of menacing a police officer in the Nov. 13 incident.

On Tuesday, May 22, state Supreme Court Justice Charles Schiano Jr. is scheduled to rule on motions from Bonner's attorney, David Pilato, who contends that evidence in the case should be suppressed because the police actions before, during, and even after Bonner's arrest were clearly unconstitutional.

Prosecutors differ, saying Bonner had no cause to stick the rifle out the window, even if the police were in the wrong when telling the boyfriend he could break in.

On Sunday’s installment of Showtime’s The Circus, CNN Tonight host Don Lemon was profiled and he lashed out at President Trump as a “racist” and insinuated that Trump’s criticism of him was racially-based.

Thankfully, the show also profiled our friends at the Daily Caller and, to the show’s credit, the interviews allowed for Daily Caller personality to offer some excellent points about liberal media bias. All the while, it inadvertently made a comment moments beforehand by lefty co-host Alex Wagner look absurdly foolish when it comes to media echo chambers.

WORDS MATTER! Liberal Harvard Professor Tells Democrats "Shoot to Kill" When Trying to Impeach Pres. Trump

    moku 385 -1

Harvard Law professor Laurence Tribe appeared on CNN’s New Day to discuss his new book, To End a Presidency: The Power of Impeachment, and the #Resistance Twitter influencer warned Democrats against throwing down the impeachment card too hastily.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo noted that Tribe’s book “comes with a note of political caution,” that “Democrats shouldn’t be rushing down the road of impeachment.”

Tribe explained that the impeachment is not about “garden variety crime,” but “abusing the authority that we give to high officials like the president.” The professor went on to give examples of offenses that Trump could commit that would not constitute crimes, but would be impeachable, including failing to protect the country in favor of enriching himself personally.

“But it will be available only if we don’t use it loosely, and ring the bell every time something looks amiss,” Tribe said. “You can’t be the boy who cried wolf and have a viable impeachment power. You can’t use it over and over again against the same president.”

“If you’re going to shoot him, you have to shoot to kill,” Tribe said. “And that requires an overwhelming majority of a bipartisan kind. Otherwise you’re just going to nick the guy, and make him feel empowered and vindicated.”
