Two Maryland high school students – one of whom has an “alien removal” case pending – forced a 14-year-old female classmate into a bathroom stall on Thursday morning and viciously raped her, police said.
The suspects, Henry E. Sanchez, 18, and Jose O. Montano, 17, are in ninth grade at Rockville High School. Both are recent arrivals to the U.S., Sanchez from Guatemala and Montano from El Salvador, WUSA9 reported.
The pair appeared in court Friday and Montano is being charged as an adult, despite his age, due to the seriousness of the crime. Sanchez and Montano, charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offense, were held without bond.
“I believe that you are a danger,” District Judge Eugene Wolfe told Sanchez, according to The Washington Post.
Police say Montano forced the girl into a school restroom after she refused to have sex with him. The girl fought back, at one point holding on to a sink to avoid the assault, but Montano allegedly pushed the girl into a stall where he and Sanchez took turns holding her down and raping her, according to the police affidavit.
After hearing a noise, Sanchez fled, but Montano simply tried to silence the girl, who eventually broke free and was able to tell a staff member, the police report said.
“Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment for all of our students is our top priority,” a Montgomery County Public Schools spokesperson wrote in a letter sent to parents. “Our staff remains vigilant in the monitoring of our school each and every day.”
Wyclef Jean is lashing out at the Los Angeles Police Department after he was pulled over and placed in handcuffs early Tuesday morning on his way home from the studio. The Grammy-winning singer, 47, detailed the incident hours later on Twitter, while also posting two videos taken at the scene taken by singer T Baby, who was with him at the time. 'LAPD another case of mistaken identity. Black man with red bandana robbed a gas station as I was in the studio working but im in handcuffs?' wrote Wyclef in one tweet. He is now threatening to sue the department over how he was treated by the two deputies. A police spokesperson told DailyMail.com that the deputies stopped the former member of the Fugees because he was driving a similar car and wearing the same bandanna as an armed robbery suspect. Sergeant Duncan of the LA County Sheriff Department's West Hollywood station confirmed that Wyclef was detained by deputies around 1am on Tuesday. There had been an armed robbery nearby and the suspect was driving a car similar in make and color to Wyclef's according Sergeant Duncan, and also wearing a red bandanna. The deputies released Wyclef after briefly questioning him and he has not yet filed a complaint with the department said Sergeant Duncan. Wyclef gave his version of events on Twitter, which are not vastly different from the account given by authorities. 'I was asked by the police to Put my hands up. Then I was told do not move. I was instantly hand cuffed before being asked to identify myself,'; wrote Wyclef. 'Nor was I told why I was being cuffed. In the process I said my name and told them they have wrong person.' He then went on to state: 'They proceeded to ignore me and I was treated like a criminal until other police showed up and pointed out they had wrong person.' And in his final tweet he wrote: 'As some one who has law enforcers in my family, I was appalled by this behavior of the LAPD.'
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) questioned FBI Director James Comey this morning on whether there is an investigation into the leak of intelligence to the media.
Earlier in the House Intelligence Committee hearing, Comey said he had received authorization from the Justice Department to confirm that there is an ongoing investigation into possible "coordination" between President Donald Trump's campaign and Russia.
Gowdy asked Comey to also assure the American people that the FBI is investigating the leak which led to the resignation of Trump's national security adviser Michael Flynn over communications with the Russian ambassador.
"I can't," Comey responded. "But I hope people watching know how seriously we take leaks of classified information. But I don't want to confirm it by saying we're investigating it. I'm sorry I have to draw that line, I just think that's the right way to be."
Gowdy shook his head in response. He said he wouldn't argue, but that he and Comey agree the release of classified information is "most definitely" a crime.
He then asked Comey to "seek authority from whomever you need to seek authority from" to assure the American people that the leak is being investigated.
Gowdy also asked Comey whether he briefed then-President Barack Obama on "calls involving Michael Flynn."
Comey declined to answer.
Gowdy asked whether former Obama administration officials - including James Clapper, John Brennan, Susan Rice, Ben Rhodes, Loretta Lynch, Sally Yates - would have had access to an "unmasked" U.S. citizen's name.
A searing hot laser capable of cutting through aircrafts in seconds has been demonstrated for the first time by the Ministry of Defence. Using their official YouTube channel, the MoD uploaded a clip of the prototype invention melting an 82mm mortar in a matter of seconds. The research will feed into the Dragonfire programme - a strategy intended to create a laser capable of becoming an alternative to missiles. The idea is to take down drones and cut through the hulls of aircraft and armoured vehicles in a more efficient manner. The technology is not yet ready to deploy, with another five to ten years of research ahead of it to perfect the system. The MoD said: 'It won’t be a thing of sleek, space age beauty, looking more like a fridge on a truck than a thing of science fiction! 'But while it might not look the part, its capability will be incredible.'

Sunday's 2017 Wuxi International Marathon ended in a comedy of errors as the front two runners sprinted to the wrong finish line, allowing the third place runner to calmly run to the correct finish line and claim victory. At the end of a grueling 42.2 kilometer long marathon in east China's Jiangsu Province, the two leading Ethiopian runners were neck and neck and so they sprinted the last 100 meters to the "finish line" but they misidentified the correct finish. Their mistake enabled the Bahrain runner in third place to win. This video of the race has gone viral online on China's social media platforms . Some netizens complain that, "How could the sponsor set a 90-degree turn in the last 100 meters? The signal is not obvious at all! The sponsor should shoulder the responsibility!" A Weibo user @GuardianshipLong teased that "life is like a marathon, never mind about those in front of you, just carry on, maybe they will run into the wrong direction!" And some netizens said, "Choosing the right direction matters more than hard work!"
President Donald Trump said in an interview Saturday night that he would happily challenge Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) in 2020, calling that scenario “a dream come true.”
“I think she would lose so badly,” Trump told Fox News’ Jesse Watters. “She hurt Hillary Clinton very badly” in the 2016 presidential election, the president stated.
Warren, who has captured the hearts of progressives, was a high-profile campaign surrogate for Clinton during the 2016 election and appeared side-by-side with Clinton in battleground states such as Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.
“I watched that last couple weeks, where she was getting up with that craziness and anger,” Trump said of Warren’s final few appearances on the campaign trail. “They are hard. I said, ‘She is bad for Hillary.'”
“Pocahontas would not be proud of her as her representative, believe me,” Trump continued, bringing up a nickname for Warren that he used from time-to-time on the campaign trail.
Watters suggested that Warren would “probably run against” Trump in 2020.
“I hope so,” Trump responded. “That would be a dream come true.”
Warren has attacked Trump on the campaign trail, calling Trump a “nasty, thin-skinned fraud” during the American Constitution Society convention in Washington in June.
She has continued to attack Trump after he assumed the presidency, most recently for Trump’s decision to fire Obama-era federal prosecutor Preet Bharara, when she said the president wants a bunch of “tame prosecutors who won’t investigate him.”
A German gangster rapper has been videoed appearing to beat up a fan in front of a cheering crowd for trying to take his sunglasses. Hip-hop star Kollegah invited the man onto the stage to take part in a 'freestyle rap battle' with another fan during a gig in the German city of Leipzig on Saturday (18/3). The starstruck fan is seen shaking hands with the rapper and cracking jokes with band members as he waits for his opponent to join him. Moments later he is piled on by five men and dragged across the stage like a rag doll when his banter backfires. The dramatic footage - filmed by a spectator - shows the cocky fan stroll towards the heavily-built rapper and take a sip of water before trying to take the sunglasses off his head. Kollegah - who calls himself the 'Boss of Bosses' - immediately squares up to him and draws back his fist. The man seems to offer him a hug to say sorry but the angry rapper shoves him and kicks him in the stomach. He hits the man in the jaw as he backs away, then the others dive in and rugby tackle him to the ground before dragging him away. The DJ even leaps over his turntables and boots the man in the back as he lies helpless. The audience roar with excitement and make gun gestures as a bouncer hauls him to the exit by his jacket. Kollegah then puts his sunglasses on and tells the crowd: 'Drinking is okay, but don't touch people's glasses or their baseball caps. That's not necessary.' He presents the other fan with a trophy for winning the rap battle, despite not even doing anything. The 32-year-old musician, whose real name is Felix Antoine Blume, converted to Islam in his teens after studying the Koran. He is currently one of Germany's most popular rap artists and his last two albums have topped the national charts. The incident took place at the opening concert of his Imperator Tour 2017, where fans were charged 35 euros a head to watch him perform. It's unsure whether the incident was real or part of a pre-planned stunt. Leipzig Police confirmed it is investigating an allegation of assault against the rapper following a complaint made online. Kollegah's management company declined to comment.
This Moroccan activist believes that Muslims actually believe in their heart that within 15 years the continent of Europe will be another part of the Muslim caliphate. Based on current trends several states that are part of the EU are already showing signs that within that timeframe Muslims will make up a much much larger percentage of the population simply due to their massive breeding. This alone could prove this statement correct.
This is the shocking moment a concrete wall fell down on a passing motorcyclist in southeast China. The video footage taken on March 16 in Shenzhen, shows a digger demolishing an unused wall in the middle of the road, hitting a biker as he cycles past. The man surnamed Zhong, fell from his bike and was knocked unconscious. The incident took place at Shenzhen city of Guangdong province on March 16. Zhong was on his way to work and drove past the construction area. He told Pear that the digger was not moving and at the time he did not notice that people were operating it. However when he drove past, the digger swung and demolished the wall. His bike was crushed to a lump of metal. Zhong was found unconscious after being knocked down by the wall. Onlookers reported the accident to the police and called for an ambulance. Doctors conducted emergency surgery on Zhong as they diagnosed severe bone fractures on his both legs. One neighbour told Pear that there are primary schools and kindergartens ahead of the construction site. 'If this happened when students were going to school, I couldn't imagine the consequences,' said the neighbour. Zhong's wife, Ms Zhou, blamed the construction company for not pulling a barricade tape and putting up a warning sign. She added there wasn't anyone giving signals to indicate that the wall was being demolished.
Larry C Johnson, the former CIA official, went on CNN's Reliable Sources and blew the lid off the entire 'Trump is lying about being wiretapped' narrative.
Johnson once worked for the CIA, but left the government three decades ago to start a consulting business. He worked as a television analyst for several years before starting his own blog on terrorism and intelligence.
Host Brian Stelter tried to discredit Johnson because he appeared on RT news, which Stelter claims is a Russian propaganda arm but Johnson was quick to remind him that he is not a partisan and was even let go from Fox News for not supporting the war in Iraq and being critical of the Bush administration.
Johnson was on the program to discuss the recent controversy over White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer using commentary from Fox News’ Andrew Napolitano that claimed British spy agency GCHQ had been wiretapping Trump Tower.

A vicious bikini brawl between two Spring Breakers in Texas ended with the loser being twerked over as she lay reeling on the sand after being knocked out by a high school senior. The loser, named only as Keelsey, was in South Padre Island off Texas's south east coast last week to soak up the hedonistic annual break with friends. She locked horns Oklahoma City high school senior 17-year-old Bayleigh Anderson during one of the last days of the trip after being caught flirting with her boyfriend. The pair came to blows, scrapping messily on the beach as others watched and filmed them. Bayleigh won the fight, knocking Keelsey to the ground with a carefully prepared jab which drew gasps from the feasting crowd. Footage of their fight has gone viral on Twitter where Keelsey has been quick to tell followers that she would otherwise have won but was too drunk to fight back. Several different videos of the fight were captured from different angles and at different stages. The row began when Keelsey started twerking with Bayleigh's 18-year-old boyfriend. 'I caught the girl twerking all on my boyfriend is what started the whole thing,' she told DailyMail.com on Monday.
A Detroit-area congressman was loudly booed by town hall attendees after he said he supported funding for the military.
Representative Dave Trott (R-Mich.) held a town hall event in a convention center in Novi, Mich. on Saturday, after receiving pressure from liberal activist group Michigan People's Campaign, according to the Daily Caller.
A video of part of Trott's remarks shows him saying "I support more funding for the military..." before trailing off under a chorus of boos and several attendees waving red pieces of paper.
Trott, 56, is serving his first term in Congress after defeating Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-Mich).
Michigan Radio reported much of Trott's crowd was hostile toward him, and that he received a similarly negative response when he voiced support for the Republican leadership's ObamaCare replacement bill.
The Oakland County Republican Party accused Democrats of sending supporters to events to heckle people like Trott.
