Over the course of film history, plenty of unsuspecting bystanders have found themselves involved in spy games. Here, Matt Damon decides to take the classic scenario to real-life shoppers in Los Angeles.
Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Bangkok teamed up with PETA Asia to launch this shocking pop-up shop in one of Bangkok's hippest shopping malls to show consumers the suffering behind every exotic-skins bag, belt, jacket, and pair of gloves or shoes.
Its really hard to believe in modern times were still discussing things such as reparations. There isn't a nation on earth that hasn't had slaves, however the liberal professors and media would like you to believe America was the absolute worst when it comes to slavery, not only is it not true, its so far from the truth it's despicable.
Trollstation are back and this time they are tackling the tough subject of racism. If you haven’t heard of these guys before, they make thought-provoking social experiment videos and recently did a brilliant job of tackling workplace sexism. This time round they set up shop at Liverpool’s International Slavery Museum, posing as two members of the public. The footage shows one white man openly abusing a black man, with members of the public stepping in to come to the victim’s aid. With the white man hurling various insulting phrases loud enough for other people to hear, it was only a matter of time before a good Samaritan stepped up to the plate. The Liverpool Echo reports that at one point, the white man says, “It would have been better if the white people were slaves because we actually work better.” He continues: “You were slaves for a reason mate.” The video itself is on the next page and makes for some pretty interesting viewing. Prepare to be shocked and impressed in equal measure.I don’t know about you, but I’d definitely be saying something if I heard that in a public place – especially if that place was a museum dedicated to the horrors of slavery. At the time of writing, the video has managed to get more than 68,000 views. “I don’t agree with you,” said a passer-by. “You’re being a bigot,” she stated, keen to make her feelings abundantly clear. “Nobody is interested in your opinions, keep it to yourself.”Shocking viewing right? Despite the comments made in the video, it’s great to see members of the public making a stand against this kind of ignorant rhetoric. Obviously, at the end of the video the actors revealed what they were up to, with our vocal lady giving a pretty brilliant reaction.
