    it really does happen...my daughters science class did that as an experiment and she says the Worms do come out. That is why you must cook pork well done. The tape worms can live inside of you.

    They aren't maggots, they are trichinella, the worms that cause trichinosis. This is the reason there are warnings against eating undercooked pork. Trichinosis is the infection of trichinella eggs in the muscle tissue. Acids from the soda dissolve the eggshell and the worms begin the migration process.
