  • Religious beliefs never hurt anybody. I would much rather believe in God and find out after I die that there isn't one than to not believe and find out that there is. Maybe you should rethink things. Incidentally, there was a study done where they gave a group of people lie detector tests. One of the questions was "Do you believe in God?" All the NO answers to that question registered as a lie.

    This is just ridiculous. So their kid doesn't believe in god... maybe it's just because I grew up in a country that never had a holy war, but she should learn to accept it. Also, with the "no presents" thing.. what does she want him to do? lie for her? she just wants to hear him say he believes in god so she can lie to herself. From the sound of his voice and look of his appearance, he's probably of about the right age where presents don't really matter.
