Bill Nye the "science" guy has officially endorsed Obama's attempts to criminalize and silence dissent. As reported by the Washington Times on Thursday, Mr. Nye recently revealed his vindictive narrow-mindedness against open debate and the free exchange of ideas, enthusiastically supporting the intimidation and prosecution of anyone who expresses an opinion Democrats disagree with in public.
Bill Nye attends the Nick Graham presentation during New York Fashion Week Men's Fall/Winter 2016 at Skylight at Clarkson Sq on February 3, 2016 in New York City.
In a newly-released video, Nye refused to condemn the Stalin-like rhetoric of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who literally thinks global warming skeptics should be prosecuted as war criminals. He then rationalized such Orwellian witch hunts by smearing the victims as being just like Enron or tobacco companies (which committed actual crimes and provably, measurably hurt people), simply for disagreeing.
Mr. Nye asked, "Was it appropriate to jail the guys from Enron? We’ll see what happens. Was it appropriate to jail people from the cigarette industry who insisted that this addictive product was not addictive, and so on?" He insisted, "The introduction of this extreme doubt about climate change is affecting my quality of life as a public citizen, so I can see where people are very concerned about this, and they’re pursuing criminal investigations." He then further vilified the victims as "leaving the world worse than they found it because they are keeping us from getting to work."
Translation: Liberal opinions are to be treated as hard fact (despite widespread disagreement among the experts and an overwhelming body of evidence that global warming is an invented fraud), and anyone who reaches a different conclusion is to be hysterically trashed as an enemy of humanity, charged with heresy, and burned at the stake. This blatantly unconstitutional persecution of political opponents (instigated by the Obama administration) is now happening in more than a dozen states, and is a perfect example of why so many people continue comparing Obama's jaw-droppingly fascist policies to those of despotic dictators like Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.
