ORMER CONGRESSMAN DENNIS KUCINICH WILL TELL YOU HE'S "NO FAN OF TRUMP'S," but the Democrat from Ohio will also tell you "he's got a point about wiretapping." That's because Mr. Kucinich can identify with the President's plight having himself been the subject of what he believes was U.S. government wiretapping. In 2015, two years after he had left office, investigative reporters with the Washington Times met with Kucinich in a D.C. Chinese restaurant and played the tape for him seeking confirmation of it's veracity. Since, Kucinich has fought a battle to find out the exact source of the wiretap through the Freedom of Information Act but to no avail. Says Kucinich, "My phone wasn't safe in a Congressional office. If they can do that to a member of Congress they can certainly do that to a Presidential candidate and they can do it to private citizens as well. ... hello America."
