A frightening scene was captured Friday on dashcam video when two motorcycles collided in Maxing County of southwest China's Guizhou Province, causing injuries to both riders.
Video of the accident showed a motorcyclist crossing over to the other lane overtaking a bus ahead of it and slamming headfirst into another motorcyclist sending shattered material and debris to fly everywhere.
The accident occurred on a countryside road in Xingshan Town at around 14:00.
The two motorcyclists were knocked off their rides and suffered a hard fall, both incapable of moving. Other drivers immediately called for help and the two were later transferred to the hospital.
Hospital interrogation revealed that the incoming motorcyclist, surnamed Song, was drunk while he was driving, and was trying to overtake a bus and didn't pay attention to the road. he admitted to having at least a beer and some white wine before taking to the road.
Doctors say that Song and the other surnamed Yang, are in stable condition.
