Despite the interviewer accurately pointing out that 70% of potential threats reported to the UK's counter-terrorism apparatus are Islamic, incumbent Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott (Labour Party) seems to insist that our counter-terrorism resources should be spent on right-wing extremists in order to keep things "balanced".
Well, I'm sure some balance WOULD make sense... if right-wing extremists were committing an equal number of the terrorist attacks in the UK. All Abbott seems to care about, however, is making sure that the UK continues to ignore possible Islamist radicals.
