Barber's Shop Stormed By African Gang Who Attack Customers In Massive Brawl

A 15-strong gang has stormed a barber's shop and attacked customers in a massive brawl.

Horror footage shows the thugs bursting into the shop in Melbourne, Australia, and hitting customers with weapons including hair clippers, stools and a broom.

The fight happened last Friday afternoon and saw staff at the barbers desperately try to defend themselves with as they were repeatedly hit.

Police the brawl started after a number of men entered the shop and started arguing with people inside before leaving.

Five minutes later, they returned and a huge fight erupted as terrified customers tried to flee.

CCTV shows the men jumping over counter tops and one bloke even appears to wield a tomahawk axe.

One person was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries after he was reportedly hit in the back of the head with the tomahawk.

Detective Senior Constable Peter Street said: "[The offenders were] all males between 17 and 20 years old.

"The majority of them were of African or Somali appearance.

"There were a few Caucasian males also inside.

"A lot of them did have balaclavas and face coverings so it's hard to identify the people involved. That's why we're appealing for witnesses.

"Luckily enough the child left before the fight broke out but as I said being 5:00pm on a Friday night there could've been any number [of people] in there of all ages and all sexes."

He added around $600 (£358) was taken from the shop till during the incident.
