A police officer in Ibiza has been filmed forcefully arresting a female holidaymaker who apparently lashes out at him after going to report a theft.
In the footage, the brunette, who has not been identified, appears to accuse the officer of brutality towards her while she grapples with him.
She then kicks him and tries to punch him as she shouts incoherently at him.
The surreal scene in the popular holiday spot for British tourists ended with the officer apparently grabbing the woman by the hair.
He then smashed her down on seats in a waiting area before forcing her to the ground and handcuffing her, according to the footage.
