The terrifying moment West Ham footballer Andy Carroll was chased by a man on a motorbike attempting to steal his £22,000 watch has been released.
Jack O'Brien, 22, was today jailed for 11 years after being found guilty of attempted robbery following a trial at Basildon Crown Court.
Frightening video footage shows two motorbikes going after the 6ft 4in Premier League striker's camouflage green Jeep down busy roads.
As shown by the sun shining in the clip, the incident happened in broad daylight.
The footage also shows Carroll had to drive on the wrong side of the road to get away, which a court was previously told.
Police say they were called to reports of two men on motorcycles attempting to rob a motorist on Romford Road in Chigwell, threatening the driver at a red traffic light.
One of the suspects said: "Give me the watch" and intimated through gestures he had a firearm on him.
