A team of workers were injured in a shocking accident at a Russian football stadium less than a year before the country hosts the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The accident took place at a ground in the city of St Petersburg, north western Russia, which Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich paid to have built. The city is the home town of Russia leader Vladimir Putin - and is where he started learning judo and sambo before starting a career in the KGB. Four workers were hurt after a metal structure collapsed at Kirovets Football Stadium in Russia’s second city.
