This is the terrifying moment a convicted sex offender hidden in a pile of laundry jumped out and stabbed a police officer twice - in shocking footage recorded on a police bodycam.
Phillip Trammell was shot dead after he stabbed Deputy Christian Goode with a four-inch blade while the officer was attempting to serve him two warrants.
In the video footage, the officer, from Muldrow in Oklahoma, can be seen searching rooms looking for Tramell before he suddenly emerges from a pile of clothes clutching a knife .
According to KFSM , Deputy Goode deployed his Taser but it did not fire.
