During the Tuesday episode of her show “Deadline: White House,” MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace argued that members of President Donald Trump's administration didn't have the “capacity for humanity.”
“These do not appear to be human beings,” Wallace said after citing an apparent “lack of irony” as well as a history of “projection” and “deflection.”
As proof that the administration lacked humanity, Wallace pointed to how “they trotted General Kelly out as a human shield last week ... to take the swings that Donald Trump wasn't man enough to take for himself.”
Wallace's dismay was in reference to Kelly's appearance at a White House press briefing in which he criticized Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) for involving herself in the phone call Trump had with the widow of a fallen soldier.
“I just thought the selfless devotion that brings a man or a woman to die on the battlefield. I just thought that that might be sacred,” Kelly told reporters.
