Flagship Apple store is raided by 10 armed thieves on mopeds who threatened security guard with hammer

A gang of 10 thieves smashed into a London's flagship store and threatened a security guard with a hammer before making off on mopeds with iPhones, iPads and watches.



At least three scooters were outside Apple's Regent Street store as thieves in helmets shuttled in and out during the early morning raid.



Miah Mohammad Sheful, 28, who shot a 44-second clip of the hold-up, said it took the suspects several attempts to break in to the tech giant's store.



Passing cars started beeping their horns to draw attention to the burglary that they realised was unfolding, the digital marketer said, but within seconds the mopeds had fled.
