A 93-year-old woman's hairdresser was caught taken cash from her purse after a hidden "nanny cam" was installed.
Hidden inside a clock, the secret spy camera recorded as Barbara Parker pocketed £40 from her 'vulnerable' client in her own home.
A family friend had noticed the cash going missing and decided to take action, but they were shocked when they found out who was responsible.
Parker, of Chudleigh Close, Halewood, Liverpool admitted stealing the cash from the woman's whose hair she had cut for had been cutting her victim’s hair for more than six years, Liverpool Magistrates Court heard.
CCTV footage used in evidence has since been widely shared online, racking up over 3m views in less than 48 hours.
