Driver reverses over and KILLS one-year-old toddler unaware he'd wandered behind car

Every adult knows how quickly a child can run out of your view if you turn your back for a split second.



Parents the world over panic every day when it happens to them - because they often fear the worse could happen.



Tragically, for one family in China, the worse imaginable has happened - when a driver reversed over and KILLED a one-year-old toddler.



The motorist had been completely unaware that the child had wandered behind his car.



CCTV footage shows the driver climb in, start the engine and reversing - not realising the tot had been loitering behind the vehicle.



The small boy - only spotted loitering behind the car's boot seconds after the driver got into the car - was instantly knocked to the ground.



Bystanders rushed to the scene and pulled the child from under the car and then appeared to take it into the car.



He was rushed to hospital , but sadly died during surgery shortly after.
