A teenage gang of moped-riding muggers who snatched phones, wallets and scooters during a three-month robbery spree are today behind bars.
Three boys, aged 16 and 15, along with 19-year-old Sitey Mairuf, terrorised their sometimes unsuspecting victims by ambushing them on London streets.
CCTV footage, which was used by police to track the stolen mopeds, showed the gang often rode scooters in pairs when carrying out the raids.
In one video, recorded on March 6 in Lambeth, London, a woman's handbag was swiped from robbers on a moped being driven behind her on the pavement as she walked alone.
The victim is seen sent flying to the floor during the mugging before the moped speeds off. Another moped is seen in the street.
