CNN continued to show that their biased coverage of President Donald Trump knows no limits when they ran an almost-three-minute-long segment about Trump’s supposed consumption on 12 Diet Cokes a day and the possible health consequences that might have on the body on Monday.
CNN’s Brooke Baldwin based the segment off of a New York Times report, which alleged that Trump drinks a dozen Diet Cokes a day.
“What does this do to the brain and the body every day?” Baldwin asked Dr. Samantha Nazareth, a board certified gastroenterologist.
“What happens with 12 is that this essentially replaces what other liquids will provide to your body,” Nazareth told Baldwin.
Baldwin followed up by asking Nazareth whether drinking 12 Diet Cokes a day is harmful to someone’s health.
“Not necessarily,” Nazareth responded and never said in her answer that drinking that many each day would negatively impact a person’s health.
