A man viciously tackled his girlfriend to the ground and tried to beat her in a crowded street because he suspected she had cheated on him.
An onlooker filmed the violent incident which occurred on a busy street in an unnamed Chinese city.
Video footage shows the man screaming as he assaults his slender girlfriend, grabbing her neck and flinging her onto the road.
Two bystanders quickly grab the violent man and haul him off her as he continues to shout and scream.
The victim looks so shocked that she remains frozen on the ground until a woman from the crowd grabs her and drags her further away from the still fuming man.
Some men block her attacker from getting back to his girlfriend to continue the assault.
