Terrified child told to climb into manhole following Hawaii missile false alarm

A terrified Hawaiian girl is placed inside a drain as she cries "I don't want to go in" following the ballistic missile warning that resulted in widespread panic across the US state.



Footage shows a man comforting her as another, on his knees, ushers the reluctant girl to go in the small drain.



She is then seen to be lowered into the hole.



An alert of an incoming ballistic missile was sent wrongly on Saturday after a government employee 'hit the wrong button'.
