A shocking video has emerged of a police medic appearing to repeatedly punch a man in the head while he is restrained on the ground during a protest.
The incident took place on Sunday at a Kurdish march in London protesting Turkish attacks on the city of Afrin in Syria .
A police investigation has now been launched and the officer is due to be questioned following the incident.
No arrests have been made and there is no evidence of wrongdoing by the officer at this stage.
