A toddler inadvertently saved her mother from an “avalanche" falling from a rooftop after dragging her parent away, a dramatic CCTV video shows.
The woman and her 18-month-old daughter avoided potentially serious injuries from the snow crashing down suddenly from the four storey building.
The little girl was seen dragging her mother away from the spot most of the snow fell in the seconds before it came tumbling down.
The mum grabbed her little girl and they both just missed being hit by ice and snow.
While they were still covered in snow, they missed the full force of the fall.
Hospital checks on the mother and child, and the other woman, showed no serious injuries.
The building is a local council office in Vidyaevo, a naval base settlement in Murmansk region closed to outsiders for Russian national security reasons.
