Gangs of teenage yobs are 'holding a UK town at ransom' as they roam the streets like 'feral animals', according to furious residents.
Around 20 youths, brandished as disruptive hooligans at a heated community meeting in Hyde, Manchester, have reportedly attacked shop owners, smashed bus stops and even targeted innocent shoppers in the street.
An investigation by the Manchester Evening News revealed some Hyde residents have even been left too afraid to leave their homes and walk the streets at night.
Residents, business owners, police and council bosses gathered at Hyde Town Hall to discuss the problems yesterday.
Businesses in the area have even set up dedicated WhatsApp group to circulate images of the hooligans.
