Man screams racist abuse calling woman a 'silly black bird'

A man who launched a foul-mouthed rant at a black woman on a train after she asked him to stop swearing is being hunted by police.



The passenger hurled verbal abuse at the unidentified woman who was travelling with her children towards Essex when she politely asked him to watch his language.



The dark-haired man, who appears to be in his 20s, also claimed he was carrying a knife during the incident between Fenchurch Street station and Shoeburyness station last week.
