A military police off duty was attending a Mother's Day party at the school where her daughter studied, the Ferreira Master College, in the city of Suzano, in the interior of São Paulo.
But when she was there, an assault occurred, and in reaction, she shot a suspect in front of the school. According to information from the Military Police for the G1 of Mogi das Cruzes and Suzano, the 21-year-old suspect was carrying a .38 caliber revolver and had already approached other mothers, as well as having searched the school's security to see if he carried weapons.
Also according to the PM, the police saw the movement and heard a woman saying it was robbery. At this point, she walked away, pulled out the gun and fired three times at the suspect.
Police said the man, who had already shot a shot that did not hit anyone, did a second shot, which failed. That's when the police officer got close. The suspect was rescued to the Santa Casa de Suzano, but it did not resist the injuries and it died.
