A man accused of trying to groom a 14-year-old girl by paedophile hunters is believed to have taken his own life just 48 hours after being confronted.
Vigilante group Soul Survivors faced Nigel Sheratt, telling him he'd been caught and that police had been informed.
They had posed as a teenager in Facebook conversations with Mr Sheratt and allege that the 47-year-old had made attempts to groom 'her'.
The group showed him apparent print outs of sexually explicit messages he'd allegedly sent to 'the girl' before police were filmed leading him away.
Soul survivors then wrote online that Mr Sheratt had taken his own life on Sunday.
Approached at Mr Sheratt's home, a relative told the Daily Mail they'd found him dead on Sunday and denied the accusations against him.
