Shocking footage shows a robber brutally dragging a woman into a road and kicking her repeatedly when she bravely fights back.
CCTV captured the moment the mugger crept up behind the unsuspecting 42-year-old victim before hauling her to the ground.
The woman attempts to fight off the thief, but he kicks her in the stomach before finally grabbing her handbag and running away.
Leicestershire Police released CCTV of the attack which happened as the woman walked along Seymour Street, in Leicester, at 8.10pm on September 12.
The thug made off with a purse which contained cash and bank cards as well as two gold chains.
The woman suffered minor injuries - including cuts to her feet - bu was left 'extremely upset'.
