Shocking video of a dog groomer allegedly mistreating a pet in her care has emerged.
A clip was posted to Facebook yesterday and appears to be CCTV footage showing the backroom of a dog groomers.
Debonair Dogs Canine Grooming Salon in Moreton, Merseyside, today issued a statement saying the clip had been investigated and the woman involved no longer worked there.
In the footage, the woman grabs the dog and holds it by the scruff of its neck before repeatedly prodding it in the ribs, making it squirm and wriggle.
There is one dog in the foreground, and another tied to a metal unit at the back of the room.
