A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman is accused of driving drunk the wrong way in Brown Deer late Saturday night and then attacking and spitting on police officers after she’s arrested.
Denisha Davis is charged with felonies for spitting twice on officers at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital, where she was taken for a blood alcohol test.
Police said the incident started when an officer spotted Davis driving the wrong way on Brown Deer Road just before midnight Saturday.
According to the criminal complaint a preliminary breath test measured Davis with a 0.191 blood alcohol concentration.
Davis is also charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated – second offense and operating a motor vehicle while revoked.
