A mum-of-five was horrified when a man racially abused her at a supermarket in front of her children.
Zaitoon Sharif was shopping at an Asda in Glasgow with her two daughters, aged 12 and nine, and her 19-year-old niece, when the man began harassing her at the self-service checkout.
Shocking footage filmed by her niece and posted on Facebook shows the man shouting at Zaitoon: "Go back to your own country."
She replies: "This is my country, mate. I was born here."
The 40-year-old told the Daily Record : "This is the first time in my life I have been exposed to such blatant racism.
