    Sure, but Soccer players don't dress up with partial/full body protection, nor do they use helmets. As far as I know Hockey tends to be more Team VS Team bar fight, rather than a sport. My two cents.

    Soccer players INVENTED diving and the fine art of making an ass out of yourself" THAT trend came from South American and Mediterranean nations - Argentina, Italy, Spain, Portugal etc. Like in the USA's sports, FIFA have tried to de-male football by introducing female officials, penalising soft tackles etc...
