There's no such thing as an "infection of maggots". Maggots are sometimes used to treat necrotic wounds, as they eat away the dead flesh, giving the wound a chance to heal properly.

Are you guys mentally retarded? They use maggots all over the world in this fashion, including "1st world" countries like the US. It happens to be one of the most effective ways of cleaning up a necrotic wound. For all the advances in modern medical science, sometime the old fashioned remedies remain the best.
