Everything you see on teevee is fake. Also, why do so many Americans put these nightly chatshows on a pedestal? Do they still these shows as "institutions"? The audiences in these things have got to be the most easily-pleased, right-on bunch of shallow-brains on earth. All that celebrity-worship, "topical jokes" and mildly left-wing content (unless it's Daily Show or SNL then it's far-left). What's the point? I think the media complex arranges success and importance for these shows, especially today when I bet audiences have dwindled.
