What do you expect?

The Myanmar government knows the UN ain't gonna do jackshit about it ... or anything for that matter. Unfortunately, nothing gets done if the US ain't involved. That sure as hell doesn't mean it's gonna be done properly; it just means the national debt is gonna go up.

Give it Ti,e and the Junta will fall....All is lost now so the people will rise up more determined for change and retake power. Unfortuantly, this will not be a bloodless coup or power handover. For a governmental body to refuse aide for it's destroyed and desperate nation that just shows the immoral and dictatorship methods of the presently serving government. It also shows that this body needs to be stripped of it's power for the benefit and safety of it's people and the futures wellbeing of the country.

To your "Nothing gets done if the US ain't involved" statement, Hooray for your typical and factual stereotypical response...You are the worlds proof of 'ignorance'. Ya's are not the only ones who care. We (Australians) are a nation that is very economically small in comparison to the US yet we still equal or surpass your charity aide efforts and contributions to natural disaster relief. But you won't hear bout that in your press...It's not your fault but still you could be a little more educated and respectful on the topic....Everything is not a fucking competition.
