Violent armed robbery at Church's Chicken caught on CCTV

Southwest Detective Division is looking to identify two suspects who robbed Church's Chicken in Southwest Schuylkill. On Monday, June 2, 2014, at 6:20pm, two unknown males entered Church's Chicken located at 5818 Woodland Avenue armed with handguns demanding money. Suspect #1 jumped over the counter and began to struggle with the store manager while suspect #2 took an unknown amount of money from the safe. Both offenders then fled the location through the back door and were last seen south towards adjacent railroad tracks. The manager, a 33 year-old male, suffered minor lacerations to his face and head. Suspect Description: Suspect #1: Black male, 19-23 years-of-age, 5'9", 140 lbs., beard, dark complexion, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt. Suspect #2: Black male, 19-23 years-of-age, 6'1", thin build, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, and a purple mask. If you see these suspects do not approach them, contact 911 immediately.
