Why does it take a warning the first week and a suspension the second week before the mother realizes that the school means business. I am tired of these stories of the parents defending their kids when it is clear the school does not want something in their school. Now this girl is going to think whatever she does her mother is going to defend her. If this was my kid I would have told her, "you knew the school did not like this shirt, you knew what would happen if you wore it to school so now that you are suspended you can stay home and clean the house all day until you go back to school". This might make that girl realize there are consequences to her actions.
