As you can see in the video the cops ordered the man to put down the knife (1:30 Mark) he stepped forward again even with their guns drawn, yelled kill me then, and was shot several times. Shortly afterwards you can hear the crowd saying why didn't they just tase him, we can only assume they don't realize that St. Louis cops are not required to carry stun guns or mace, the gun is their only defense. You can also hear people who were not even watching screaming things that did not happen in the video. The video shows exactly what happened, the cops said drop the knife, the man said kill me then, stepped forward, and was shot multiple times.
