  • well the thing is the shark is dead

so big deal. You hear the water in the background, but had this been a live shark you would have heard the people screaming in the background.....Snoozer

  • dog and shark

tashababy is an airhead-doesn't know what she's talking about- the shark is alive, you can clearly see it dart under when the dog makes his 1st pass. It's tired and under tension from the line but it's alive.

  • dog bites dying shark: whoo hooo!

Mr Stud, take a closer look -that shark is nearly dead, and hence it is barely able to even move, let alone swim or fight. Note that its body is nearly perpedicular to the ocean floor, and therefore not in a normal swimming position. perpendicular means its head is pointed towards suface of water and it's tail is pointed towards the bottom. its no longer even swimming. You need to take a closer look. Tasha baby is not an airhead-she is just very observant. Cute dog though...:)

  • Dog Bites Shark

Word on the street is that the shark was an undersea Postal Worker. He moves like a typical postal worker and obviously, dogs hate him.

  • Pit Bulls Rule

Shark not dead, but very small for shark. Pit's head is about 2x larger than shark's head. Even if the shark were capable of fighting back, I don't think it owuld do anything if the dog got it first, b/c Bulldogs don't let go once they've got a good hold, unless they're going for the kill.

  • The shark was clsoe to dead-or it would have killed the dog

Dogs cant hold their breath very long under water, ; and if that shark had been anywhere near healthy it would have dove down to the bottonm with the pooch attached, and it would not have re- surfaced and so the dog would have drowned, if it was too stubborn to let go. But if the shark ws helth when the dog first swan over it, as it slid under water, a healthy shark would have come up from below the dog and cut is leg off, or ripped its guts out, and it would not have been pretty.Evena four fott shark whne healthy would kill any dog swimming in deep water. The lbs per sq inch of th e jaws of even a small shark like this one is at least five greater than that of a pitbull dog. go to google and search pit bulldogs and jaw pressure, and then do the same for sharks and compare. you will see what a load of bs video this video hads prompted some people to post. I have a staffordshire Terrier which is related closely to the pit bull and I would not let him jump into deep salt water, to "fetch a shark on a line-even its near deathas this shark clealry was. The reason is because other larger sharks or even large barracudas will often be attracted by the distress of ajny hooked fish and appear from nowhere, and could quickly kill your dog. not to mention the possibility of jelly fish tentacles or sting rays qwhich can be letahla to all warm blooded animals this dogs owner(s) are apparently possessed of very poor judgement. and Unfortunatly pit bull owners are often (but not always) rednecks who boost their sense of powerlessness by getting vicarious power poewe feelings from their dogs. Its really kinda of sad, as as they often get their jollies fighting the dogs, and theirs always another pit bull who will eventually rip your dog a new one. yes pitbulls do ruylke-inthe world of canines, but htey doint comappre to sharks in the water, water or large alligators in or out of the water

  • It doesn’t really matter if the shark was still technically “alive” or not, as it was near death in any case. Also, It’s a very small juvenile shark, so what’s the big deal? By the way, Dogs can’t hold their breath very long under water; so if that shark had been totally healthy it might could have dove down to the bottom with the pooch attached, and so the dog would have drowned, if it was too stubborn to let go. Even that small of a shark probably would have enoughstrength in its body to do that. Ands That dog could not have “dog paddled” to shore with a healthy, robust, thrashing shark diving under water to shake it off. But if the shark had been strong and healthy in the first place, when the dog first swam over it and missed it, when it slid back under water, it would have come back up from below the dog with a vengeance and cut the dog’s leg off, or ripped its guts out, and it would not have been pretty. Even a four foot shark when healthy would kill any size dog swimming in deep water. The lbs per sq inch of the jaws of even a small shark like this one is greater than that of even a Pitbull dog. I would not let my staffordshire terrier jump into deep salt water, to "fetch a shark on a line-even its near death as this shark clearly was. The reason is because larger sharks, or even large Barracudas, will often be attracted by the distress of any hooked fish, and could appear from nowhere to quickly kill your dog. Yes, Pitbull dogs do rule-in the world of canines, but they don’t compare to healthy sharks in the water, or large alligators in or out of the water. BTW: Sharks are endangered and fast disappearing from the oceans. Knowledgeable sportsman and conservationists are no generally cutting the lines after they bring them alongside of the boat.
