Investigators are working to identify the person who left a mobile meth lab inside the restroom of a Muncie Wal-Mart. Indiana State Police said just after 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Wal-Mart employees contacted the local meth suppression team after they found a "suspicious" backpack in the men's restroom of the store, located at 1501 E. 29th St. in Muncie. Troopers said they found the backpack had an active meth lab inside. Crew members donned their protective gear and got the mobile meth lab out of the building and dismantled, ISP said. The health department said both the men's and women's restrooms at the store would need to stay closed until they could be decontaminated. Investigators said they're still working on identifying the person who left the bag in the bathroom.
