Mother tosses children from window of burning building in Saudi Arabia

An Indian mother in Saudi Arabia has showed exemplary bravery by rescuing her three children when her house caught fire in the wee hours. ummunabeelUmm Nabeel was preparing suhoor (pre-dawn meal) for her family in their apartment on the second night of Ramadan when fire mishap took place. The fire which erupted in the kitchen suddenly started spreading to other parts of the two-bedroom flat. She had to decide quickly before she and her three children suffocated. “I had to take the risk of throwing my three children out of the window, which was seven meters high or watch them being roasted alive,” she said. Umm Nabeel said the approaching fire and the dense smoke left her no choice but to take the chances of throwing her children out in the hope they might survive.
