Behold The Most Colorful River In The World

Situated in the northwest corner of South America, lies the country of Colombia. Aside from the rich assortment of animals that characterize the country, Columbia also features the dense forests of the Amazon, the Andes Mountains and a large coastal area of stunning beaches. Hidden deep within Columbia's province of Meta, is a river known as Caño Cristales. The geology of the area features a rare diversity of rocks, some of which are the oldest in the world. Each year, from the beginning of July until the end of November, the unique combination of local minerals and flora create a combination of colors that is like nothing seen anywhere else in the world
