Above the law! EPA Chief claims she respects the Supreme Courts decision right before she says the EPA will ignore them and continue to push illegal laws on Coal power plants

Stating that the Agency will abide by the Supreme Court stay, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy says, "but, we will keep moving the Clean Power Plan forward... we'll keep moving forward with things like the model rule and the CEIP." EPA's "model rule" will serve as the Federal Implementation Plan (FIP) for those states that oppose and refuse to submit a plan under the regulation. EPA's website says the CEIP (Clean Energy Investment Program) is an option for states "to incentivize early investments in wind and solar power generation." Despite the legal suit of 28 states in opposition to the Clean Power Plan, McCarthy says, "States want it. States like it."
