A Delaware police officer who went viral after he was caught on video kicking a defenseless suspect in the head is not only a free man, but is getting a massive settlement. Corporal Thomas Webster IV, of the Dover Police Department, was filmed kicking Lateef Dickerson during an August 2013 arrest after Dickerson had already surrendered and was on the ground. Dickerson’s jaw was fractured as a result of the kick. Yet, despite video evidence of an unprovoked assault on an unarmed, passive citizen, Webster will end up $230,000 richer in a new settlement.
