Gret Gutfeld goes off on Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg for claiming the way to fight terrorism is "Love"

Greg Gutfeld said that the latest "naive response to evil" has come from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who has called for more "love" to fight terrorist groups like ISIS.

Zuckerberg wrote: “Each of these attacks were carried out with a goal to spread fear and distrust, and turn members of a community against each other. I believe the only sustainable way to fight back against those who seek to divide us is to create a world where understanding and empathy can spread faster than hate, and where every single person in every country feels connected and cared for and loved."

Gutfeld said it's fine for Zuckerberg to say this "tripe" as long as there are others working to kill terrorists.

"Naive pacifism is the barnacle on the boat of vigilance. It depends on the commitment of others to kill."

But if everyone thought like Zuckerberg, Gutfeld argued, we'd be in trouble.

He said that the solution to fighting terror lies in the free market.

"The only thing as agile as terror is our creative innovation unleashed in the marketplace."

He suggested "an innovative private industry that hardens everything," including the soft targets of terrorists.

"Terror control provides the West with new, meaningful work based on turning sitting ducks into well-armed lions. A chain of vocational schools that saves civilization from heathens."
