Gothamist.com photographer Christian Hansen was threatened by a poll worker during the recent presidential primary in New York. Even though Mr. Hansen had written permission from the Board of Elections to take photographs the poll worker kicked him out. While outside Hansen was threatened by two poll workers and the entire incident was recorded on camera: "If you take a picture, I’m gonna hit you, leave, or I'm gonna hit you! I'm not playing. Leave!" The NYPD officer watching the incident unfold had no problems with the poll workers repeated threats of violence.
