Larry Wilmore rambled for over 20 minutes last night at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, mostly to a silent, uncomfortable audience.
Most of his dialog sounded as of Black Lives Matter wrote the jokes themselves, pinning white against black throughout. We'll save you the torture, but the last sentence of Wilmore's roast perfected nailed the amateur, unserious ghetto attitude of this administration. An attitude that has caused so much racial strife and animosity. From Black Lives Matter to the Knock Out Game (remember that?) to an attorney general calling whites ‘cowards’ for not addressing racism to his liking, to cops being executed at an alarming rate to Baltimore burning, and on and on and on.
So even though Larry wasted 20 minutes of everyone's life, we do have to thank him for the exclamation point.
