Thug, 19, gets death threats after posting sick Facebook video showing him viciously slapping his pet dog and dangling it out of a window

Twisted Goncalo Carter, 19, filmed himself smacking and choking his pet dog called Ruka as he tried to force it into saying ‘hello’ for the camera before grabbing it by the scruff of the neck and endangering its life with his vile stunt. Today he appeared to have taken down the Facebook page he posted the home-made video on after it prompted a violent backlash.Carter, from Lisbon, wallowing in self-pity after his inexplicable act, told a Portuguese daily he had only been “fooling around” despite the obvious sadism he displayed. He said: “I adopted him a month ago and I’ve made several videos playing with him. “It was a joke, to test peoples’ reactions.” He also claimed he was “panicking with death threats he was receiving.” Two online petitions calling for “justice for Goncalo Carter’s dog” and dubbing Carter the “animal abuser” have been signed by more than 20,000 people. Animal lovers set up a Facebook page called Anti Goncalo Carter in response to his vile deed.
