“Thank you, too,” Clinton said as they continued to boo him.
“You know, I’m not like a lot of people,” he said, “it doesn’t bother me to have protesters at rallies. I’m glad they come.”
He attempted to diffuse the protesters by adding, “I don’t care if you boo or cheer, I’m glad you’re here.”
They booed again.
“Do whatever you want,” he said.
“It was Obama’s war on coal and his politics. I don’t agree with it,” 23-year mine worker Lloyd Hall tells the Courier Journal. He was laid off three months ago.
“Obama has destroyed our livelihood here.”
